LYLAS Auditions

LYLAS is looking for women who like to write and perform funny sketches!

Auditions for new LYLAS member(s) will be held Saturday, June 12 at 1:00 p.m. at 35below, underneath Asheville Community Theatre.

Those interested in auditioning should have a sense of humor and two X chromosomes. Auditionees are asked to write and prepare an original 1-minute monologue about a birthday party. All auditionees are asked to be at 35below, 35 East Walnut Street, Asheville at 1:00 p.m. and be prepared to stay until 3:00 p.m.

LYLAS (an acronym which stands for "Love Ya Like A Sis" and is commonly found scrawled in yearbooks or texted between phones) is a collaboration between nine Asheville women. LYLAS has a full season of shows planned, beginning in September 2010.
